Ear Spray, Isotonic, NaCl

Sodium Chloride Solution (0.9% NaCl)

Aurena Ear Spray cleans the ear and removes the buildup of earwax in a safe and convenient way. It also prevents the buildup of more earwax and thus helps to maintain clean, healthy ears.

Intended use
For preventive control of wax accumulation in the external ear canal.

Target user
Adults and children from 30 months of age.

Directions

  • Ensure the spray is used at room temperature.
  • Ensure that the transparent end-piece is securely fitted over the nozzle before and during use.
  • Insert the nozzle as far as the nozzle allows you to.
  • Give one short squirt in one or both ears as needed;
    o Usually, 2 to 3 times weekly.
    o Or 1 to 2 times daily when needed, for example when using hearing aids or earplugs frequently or when experiencing symptoms of wax related obstruction of the ear canal.
  • Tip the head to the side and wipe away any residual liquid in the outer ear.
  • Clean the nozzle in soapy water and rinse with hot water after each use.

Sodium Chloride Solution (0.9% NaCl)

Storage
Store between 15°C (59°F) and 30°C (86°F).
Transport temperature: -20°C (-4°F) to 40°C (104°F).

Disposal
Follow local regulations for safe disposal of pressurized containers.

Precautions

• The use of this device by more than one person may spread infections.
• If symptoms persist (of ear wax) contact healthcare professionals.
• If any serious incident occurs in relation to the device, report to the local competent authority and the manufacturer.

Contraindications

Do not use if:
• You have a history of perforation of the ear drum.
• Your ears are inflamed.
• There are any foreign bodies present in the ear canal.
• You are currently being treated with a tympanic drain (grommets).

Warning
Pressurised container: May burst if heated.
• Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
• Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
• Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
