Karlstad, Sweden, July 8, 2015 — Aurena Laboratories, a leader inprivate label and manufacturing of bag-on-valve medical devices, is adding to its roster of innovative products with the launch of the first-ever hydrogel burn gel formulated with aloe vera in bag-on-valve technology. Developed specifically for the private label market, Aurena’s burn gel is suitable for a variety of market segments within wound and skin care, first aid, occupational safety and over-the-counter.

“Wound and skin care solutions in bag-on-valve technology continue to grow, specifically in the OTC market,” said Magnus Hedman, Director of Business Development, Co-founder and Partner at Aurena Laboratories. “Yet there was a lack of a comfortable and convenient packed burg gel option for patients suffering from minor burns or scalds on the skin. With the right water-based formula and the aloe vera, we’ve innovated a product that is appropriate for many situations.”

The technology allows for dispensing the gel onto the affected area from any angle or position.  Bag-on-valve is also known for its quick and continuous dispensing, making it a quick and convenient solution when treatment is needed immediately.
